That's me pretending to read. I didn't really need glasses then, but I do need them now.
Perhaps I need glasses because over the past 10 years I've been working as an editor, looking at screens for the better part of my day.
Editing is all I know. I look at things and I wonder what sets them apart so I can figure out how to make them fit together. I see a structure and I want to understand what works, what doesn't, and how to fix it.
I've worked in advertising, film, music, television and social media. In truth, it's all pretty much the same: every edit is weaving time to tell a story. From a two-hour film to a six-second Instagram story (it’s in the name).
There’s a rhythm and a structure to everything: everything has a beginning, a middle and an end.
